Compare and Contrast Beowulf's speech and Sir Gawain's speech.Speeches posted in question.thanks!?
Your advice or input, opinion…something please help me get started at least….speeches posted below..

.Sir Gawain’s Speech

If I reckon rightly the cause of his coming. I shall give this brave man boons for boldness.Bring him in quickly. The band of my Kinsmen is gathered together. Welcome our guest to the dwelling of Danes. Then Wulgar went through the hall’s entry with word from within: "I am ordered to answer that the lord of East-Danes honors your your father and offers you welcome, sailors who sought us over the sea-waves, bravely bent on embarking hither. Now you may march in your mail and masks to behold Hrothgar. Here you must leave war-shields and spears sharpened for strife. Your weapons can wait for words to be spoken." The mighty one rose with many a man marshaled about him, though some were bidden to stay with the weapons and stand on watch. Under Heorot’s roof the rest hastened when Beowulf brought them boldly before the hearth of Hrothgar. Helmed and hardy, the war-chief shone as he stood in skillyfully smithed chain-mail and spoke to his host.

.Beowulf’s Speech

"Hail to you, Hrothgar! I am Hygelac’s kinsmen and comrade, esteemed by the king for deeds I have done in the years of youth. I heard in my homeland how Grendel drieves you. Seafarers say that your splendid hall stands idle at and useless after the sun sinks each evening from the Heaven’s height. The most honored among us, earls and elders, have urged me to seek you, certain my strength would serve in your struggle. They have seen me return bloody from binding brutish giants, a family of five destroyed in our strife; by night in the sea I have slain monsters. Hardship I had, but our harms were avenged, our enemies mastered. Now I shall match my grip against Grendel’s and get you an end to this fued with the fiend. Therefore one favor I ask from you, Hrothgar, sovereign of Spear-Danes, shelter of shield-bearers, friend to your folk:that I and my officers, we and no others, be offered the honor of purging your hall. I have also heard that the rash thing reckons the thrust of a weapon no threat to his thews, so I shall grab and grapple with Grendel. Let my lord Hygelac hear and be glad I foreswore my sword and strong shield when I fought for my life with that fearsome foe. Whomever death takes, his doom is doubtless decreed by the Lord. If i let the creature best me when battle begins in this building, he will freely feast as he often has fed on men of much mettle. My corpse will require no cloth. He will carry away a crushed carcass clotted with gore, the fiend’s fodder gleefully eaten, smearing his lonesome lair on the moor. No need to worry who buries my body if battle takes me. Send me back to my sovereign this best of shirts which has shielded my breast, this choice chain-mail, Hrethel’s heirloom and Weland’s work. Fate goes as it will*****

I’m not an expert of either Beowulf or Sir Gawain– but I’m pretty sure both of those speeches are from Beowulf… the one you’ve got attributed to Sir Gawain is from the scene when Beowulf and his men first arrive at Heorot. And the one you’ve got attributed to Beowulf is Beowulf, when Beowulf first introduces himself to Hrothgar.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think I am…

Good luck!
